C'era una volta, in una Londra grigia e piovosa, un piccolo furetto di nome Ferrito Perrito. Ma lui non era un furetto qualunque. Ferrito Perrito viveva dentro una pera magica — sì, proprio una pera! Un giorno, la pera si aprì come per incanto, e Ferrito sbucò fuori con il musino curioso, proprio davanti al Big Ben. “Tic tac,” faceva l’orologio gigante, come se aspettasse proprio lui. Ferrito saltò fuori e gridò: "È ora di avventura!" Iniziò a camminare lungo il Tamigi, salutando i passanti con il suo sorriso da furetto. Tutti si fermavano a guardarlo: "Guarda quel furetto nella pera!" Ma la sua pera non era solo una casa: era anche una navetta magica! Ferrito salì a bordo, schioccò le dita, e... ZOOOM! volò sopra le case, passando tra le nuvole di tè e biscotti giganti. “Andiamo a trovare la Regina!” disse. Ma invece della Regina, incontrò... un barboncino con una corona! “Io sono il Re dei Cani!” disse il cane, “e ti nomino Cavaliere della Frutta!” E così, Ferrito Perrito diventò Sir Ferrito, il furetto della pera volante. — E da quel giorno, se passi vicino al Big Ben in un giorno nuvoloso, potresti vedere una pera con un furetto che ti saluta... pronto per la sua prossima avventura.
English Translation:
Once upon a time, in a grey and rainy London, there was a little ferret named Ferrito Perrito. But he was no ordinary ferret. Ferrito Perrito lived inside a magical pear — yes, a pear! One day, the pear opened as if by magic, and Ferrito popped out with his curious little face, right in front of Big Ben. “Tic toc,” went the giant clock, as if it were waiting for him. Ferrito jumped out and shouted: "Time for adventure!" He began to walk along the Thames, greeting passers-by with his ferret smile. Everyone stopped to look at him: "Look at that ferret in the pear!" But his pear wasn't just a house: it was also a magical shuttle! Ferrito climbed aboard, snapped his fingers, and... ZOOM! he flew over the houses, passing through clouds of giant tea and biscuits. "Let's go and see the Queen!" he said. But instead of the Queen, he met... a poodle with a crown! “I am the King of the Dogs!” said the dog, “and I make you Knight of Fruit!” And so, Ferrito Perrito became Sir Ferrito, the Flying Pear Ferret. — And from that day on, if you pass by Big Ben on a cloudy day, you might see a pear with a ferret waving at you... ready for his next adventure.
